ABSENTEE VOTING IN-PERSON
You can vote absentee in-person in Mississippi if you:
- Are 65 years or older
- Are a student, teacher, or administrator whose work/studies require you to be away from your voting location on election day (includes spouses and dependents)
- Work for a Mississippi congressional member and must be away on election day (includes spouses and dependents)
- Will be away from your municipality for any reason on election day
- Have a physical disability that makes voting in person difficult or dangerous
- Are caring for someone with a physical disability who is hospitalized outside your municipality or more than 50 miles away
ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL
You can vote absentee by mail in Mississippi if you:
- Are temporarily residing outside of your city of residence (mail ballot to that outside address)
- Have a disability that makes voting in person difficult or dangerous
- Are caring for a disabled family member who is hospitalized far from home
- Are age 65 or older
- Are incarcerated but not convicted of a crime that removes voting rights

YOU MUST VOTE AT YOUR ASSIGNED MUNICIPAL POLLING PLACE ON ELECTION DAY TUESDAY, JUNE 3RD. POLLS ARE OPEN 7AM-7PM.
NOTE: YOUR POLLING PLACE MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE YOU USE FOR STATE AND FEDERAL ELECTIONS (MEANING IT MAY BE DIFFERENT THAN WHERE YOU VOTED IN NOVEMBER 2024).
